Rental policies

Authorized drivers

Only the renter and drivers listed on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Additional drivers must be added at signing and are $10 each. Letting anyone not listed on the agreement drive is grounds for immediate termination of the rental.

Insurance

Insurance is required. You must carry valid automobile insurance for the entire rental period and provide your insurance company name and policy number. You are responsible for any loss or damage your insurance does not cover. An active policy does not automatically mean rental coverage, so we review it against your rental dates and recheck at pickup.

Mileage

Standard rentals include 80 miles per rental day. Additional mileage is $2.50 per mile. An unlimited-mileage package is available and must be purchased before the rental begins — it cannot be added after you drive off.

Fuel

The fuel level is recorded at pickup and is the baseline for return. Each missing quarter tank relative to that baseline is $30. Example: full at pickup, half at return is two missing quarters — $60. Returning with more fuel than you left with never creates a charge or a credit.

Cleaning and smoking

Smoking, vaping, and marijuana use are prohibited in our vehicles, as are excessive dirt, stains, trash, mud, and pet hair. A minimum $250 cleaning fee applies.

Off-road use

Driving on unpaved roads, oilfield lease roads, construction sites, or similar terrain is prohibited. Violations carry a $250 inspection and cleaning fee plus the cost of any repairs.

Vehicle return

The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and time, in substantially the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear. Odometer and fuel readings are recorded at both pickup and return.

Damage, tolls, and citations

You are responsible for all vehicle damage, lost keys, towing, storage fees, tolls, parking tickets, traffic citations, impound fees, and any other charges incurred during your rental period.

Prohibited use

The vehicle may not be used for illegal activity, racing, towing, or rideshare and delivery services unless we authorize it in writing. Violation may result in immediate termination of the rental and repossession of the vehicle.

Payments and authorization

A $100 booking payment is taken when you book online. It is credited toward your rental total exactly once and reduces the balance due at pickup — it is not a security deposit. A separate security authorization is placed on your card at pickup; that is an authorization, not a collected payment, and the deposit itself is not taxed. By signing the agreement you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for unpaid rental charges, mileage overages, fuel, tolls, damage, cleaning fees, and late fees.

We accept cash, card, Cash App, and Zelle. Texas sales tax of 10% applies to taxable rental charges. Full amounts are listed on the rates and fees page.

Driver verification

Every renter is verified. A license that appears authentic does not by itself establish current driving privileges, so document checks and identity checks are handled separately. We do not offer guaranteed approval, and we do not rent without verification.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
